HOLA familia, bueno el tiempo había pasado muy rápido y con mucho tristeza en mi corazón yo diga que si es cierto que solo 9 meses mas y mi vaya! I actually am a little sad knowing that there isn't much time left but I still am with the same mindset that I don't want to leave any regrets. I couldn't have imagined all that I have learned so far in the mission and in my life as I am right now. But the good part is that there is still more to learn and more to grow. As for the house we painted the inside and it's the color cream. And yes I had the chance to get to know the new mission president and I can say he is a awesome person and I can tell there will be a lot of different changes that will occur but I know that it will be for the best because the Lord will guide him and show him what he needs to do to guide us. I have always felt like the mission president was Captain Moroni. Lol I'm sorry for the machete I was trying to just scare you not stab you. lol
This week has been super awesome and full of different good experiences that have helped me to become better and overcome many of my difficulties and weaknesses. I've been able to learn and grown much more as I have come to understand the two things we need to become more like Christ and apply the Atoning sacrifice. The first part of the change comes from the spirit which teaches us and guides us to what we need to change and become better, subjecting ourselves, willing just like our older brother Jesus. As we learn to follow the spirit more and more we are able to come closer and closer to our Lord. It brings our lives in harmony with the teachings and learnings of Christ and helps us to feel His love for us. This love in turn gives the strength and power to come unto him and to follow him in all things that he would want us to do. The spirit guides us and if we are but willing to follow we learn those things we need to improve and that is where the part of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ comes in when we learn that we are doing something that is not right we then have the chance to change and come unto Him and he purifies us with the spirit and we are cleansed once more. And as we learn more and more of how we need to change using our faith and repenting we then recieve more and more of his spirit. I have made it a goal to have the spirit with me at all times, in all things and in all places because I was wondering how Christ was so perfect and what did he do to be so perfect and I have learned that it is through his diligence in keeping the commandments of God and following the spirit in all things that he wants us to do. I have been able to have many great experiences with the spirit which has made the work easier and i feel just as they did in the Book of Mormon and that the work has been lifted and that we are able to work with joy in our hearts with the love of Christ
I love you and am sorry i was unable to share many stories next week i would like to share the stories i had from the spirit
