I do love you too mom! It was very nice to be able to talk and to see how everything is going! It is weird how much everyone has changed and how much all have grown up! I can't believe how fast time has gone by. It's already starting a new year and a new start! It should be a good one, I think this next year will be better then all the other ones I have ever had, mostly because I have come to understand how important it is to reflect on the past year as well as make goals to become better in the one to come! I have come up with some of my own personal goals, both to end the mission as well as for afterwards.
All these will require that we sit down and plan... lol These are plans to be able to complete with the goal that I truly have in mind:
That we have a family more united
One of the biggest goals I have this next year is to bring us all closer together.. I mean we are pretty close but I know these things will only increase the love between one another. I've really come to know how important family is and how important each and everyone of you are for me! I love each of you and that is why I have the goal to be with you more and not just till I'm married but forever as one big great family! LOVE LOVE LOVE FAM FAM FAM!
I do have many more goals that are more personal and I encourage you all to be able to do the same to put goals for this next year on what you want to accomplish but not just simply think of what you want to do write it down and make plans to do it!
Ok OK OK well I'm actually really excited to come home, to hug each and everyone of you, and get to talk with you all again face to face in person will be a huge difference! I just don't know what to expect... I have an idea of what it will be like but not too sure.
This week I was starting to reflect on these two great seasons of great joy and excitement and gift giving and fireworks and lots of parts and just lots of things. I've come to understand and see that there is a choice to be made in these two great seasons. Each one gives us two great opportunities That I wanted to share with you guys
1. The chance we have to think about our savior and redeemer Jesus Christ or what he had given to us which is the atonement. The shedding of His blood that takes away our sins to reflect on what He did for us and what we are willing to do to show our gratitude for that gift.
2. We are able to start new again, we are able to think of this past year and then think of what we are going to do different(repentance changing in ones heart to be better)
I know there is a reason why these two holidays are so close to each other, because they relate in so many different ways, we remember Christ and what he did and it makes us want to be better. We then are given the chance to change and make goals the next year to be that much better! I have come to cherish these two great moments in this life, Think of how much changing for the good these two holidays could bring. I know that God knows all things and each and everything in this life can bring us closer to Him.
I am so grateful for this time as a missionary I have been given, It has given me so many new outlooks on life and a new way to see the picture and not just a part. God truly has opened my eyes up to the great and marvelous things of this world. His creations are great and there are many, but there is nothing sweeter then feeling and knowing that He lives, to have his spirit poured out on you filling one with knowledge and understanding! I know He lives, I know that all that I teach is true and that all that I have overcome in the mission has given me something I would never want to turn back. I have come to know that He lives, He is there to hear and uplift me, to clean me from all sin and to help me to return with my Father in Heaven.
Ok thats fine, I will do my best to learn to cook good food from Nicaragua so then I can come back and teach you how to cook rice and BEANNNNS!! lol cool beans cool cool beans cool cool beans cool beans lol if you don't understand ask Kami! lol I have been reflecting much on these last 21 months and I have learned and it is great the knowledge that it too hard to write but to speak much easier! I love you all so very much and I hope that the firework stand goes very well and that you all are able to sell a lot! I love you all love love love love love!! Hope you the best this next coming week and are able to make some personal and family goals! Because I want to plan some fun activities so then we can enjoy ourselves and become closer one with another! I love you and hope you have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
