November 18, 2013

Hello all!!

Not too excited to go back to have that, because the weather here is pretty normal and easy to predict it's either hot, or hotter lol.  Well no, I didn't have changes I am still in the same place with the same companion, however I got assigned as DL  so that's the only difference.  I don't know why mom, but God likes to test me a lot. I don't complain because I know it's good for me and it will help me become better but it's like classes before you get one assignment done then you get another bigger then the last. lol  Good thing I have such a great teacher because without Him I would probably have failed a long time ago! lol  But as for when I am scheduled to come home I haven't received anything but I know that on the 19th of March is when there is going to be changes. The next day is flight day so like the 21 or 22 of March is when I will be home.

But I'm glad to hear all is well with the troops on the homefront! lol  I want to let you know mom your amazing and I thank you for teaching me all I know.  I know I'm here because of what you and dad have taught me which is to love God, and the family!  Sometimes I feel as though many people really start to complicate the gospel as they come to understand more and more. But in the end I realized that the basic principles are what gave all that knowledge in the first place so I've come to know that faith and repentance without a doubt are the most important in the gospel because without these two there is no chance to change and even worse there is no desire to change.  When I learn of Christ I am better able to know who I am, what I need to become and how I need to do things!  In the end the goal is be like Him and so the whole gospel is focused on Him!  I've learned that a united family starts with prayer. Together we need to put God in our lives to unite us and give us what we need to grow together spiritually, after that come studying together ( family home evening) with everyone participating!  Then comes spending the time together which is the best part!  Playing around and feeling that love one with another!  To put that yummy cherry on top its going to church together and enjoying learning about Christ and His gospel... seems to be that the hardest part is the last.  Satan will put every obstacle in our path so put it into your mind through the week to go no matter what!  I know if we do this the family will be even more united and we will be that much happier together.  It comes from knowing that our family can be together forever!!!  The greatest gift and joy that someone can have!

I know that Christ lives, that He suffered ALL for us and we are His bought with a price.  That if we love Him we will do what He wants. I know that this is the true gospel, that even though we pass through hard things we are able to use these things to become better and to be strengthened so suffer it well and you will be exalted forever!  I know without a doubt that God responds to our prayers and that He is with us always!! I love you all so much, for all that you do and for the amazing love each of you have!! Thanks for all your love and support!!
